Italian Illuminated Cuttings and Leaves in Berlin

Hot on the heels of my last post, news of another new catalogue of cuttings and leaves, this time in the Berlin Kupferstichkabinett, and focusing on Italian illuminated items.

Here are a few sample pages, showing colour reproductions [click to enlarge]:
and catalogue descriptions:

It comprises eight introductory chapters (roughly 90 pages), charting the origin and growth of the collection; followed by the catalogue and reproductions (more than 200 pages), bibliography, index, etc; here is the table of contents:

Although it has only just been published, I have seen a copy, and recommend it highly. It can be ordered direct from the publisher here, currently with a discount and free postage.
