When my colleagues and I were organized Beyond Words: Illuminated Manuscripts in Boston Collections (2016) we learned very quickly that there was much more that might have been included in the exhibition if there had been more space. We have joked that we need to get busy and organize another exhibition which we would call Beyond Beyond Words; this would certainly be a strong candidate for inclusion.<br />You suggest the ink inscriptions were written by a private collector.
